Dr.
Frank Chinisci, O.D.
Dr. Chinisci earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
from the University of NM in 1978 and graduated from Southern California
College of Optometry in 1984. Dr. Chinisci has worked with the Indian
Health Service and Sunsoft Corp. In 1985 he assumed the practice
of Ben Coffman, O.D.. Dr. Chinisci participates as advisory consultant
with a national contact lens company in the area of fitting soft
contact lenses for patients with astigmatism. Dr Chinisci has assisted
in conducting various research studies in the areas of new contact
lens designs and materials; he has also participated in research
investigating pediatric vision. Dr. Chinisci is a member of the American
Optometric Association, NM Optometric Association and the Central
NM Optometric Association, of which he served as president in 1992.
He is a member of the American Diabetes Association and in 1994 served
as the president of the NM Affiliate.

Dr.
Kuzuko K. Puro, O.D.
Dr. Puro graduated fro the University of California at Berkeley
School of Optometry in 1964. She has worked and instructed at the
Veterans Administration and with the Indian Health Service. In 1984
she assumed the practice of John Gavey, O.D.. Dr. Puro is highly
respected among her peers for her expertise in ocular pathology as
well as her ability to prescribe and fit medically complex contact
lens patients. She in involved in LaserVision correction for the
permanent correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism..Dr. Puro
is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the
NM Optometric Association. She is also a member of the service organization,
Executive Women International.

Dr. William M. Fite, O.D.
Dr.
Fite received a Bachelor of Science in Health Services in 1974 from
Pacific University. He graduated from the Pacific University School
of Optometry in 1977. He worked for the Veterans Administration and
the Indian Health Service shortly after graduating, but for the most
part, has spent the bulk of his optometric career in solo practice
before joining Sandia Vision Clinic in 2005. He is a member of the
American Optometric Association and the New Mexico Optometric
Association.
He is a past treasurer of the New Mexico Optometric Association and
past president of the Bernalillo County Optometric Association.

Dr.
David Magnus, O.D.,
FAAO
Dr. Magnus received his undergraduate education
at Dartmouth College and his optometry degree from the New England
College of Optometry in 1981. He completed both an internship with
the State University of New York College of Optometry and a residency
in hospital-based optometry at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque.
Dr. Magnus went on to become Chief of the Optometry Section at the
Albuquerque VA Hospital. In 1987, Dr. Magnus helped to open VisionAmerica
of New Mexico, a medical and surgical eye care center, and served
as its Center Director for fifteen years. In 2002, Dr. Magnus joined
the clinical staff of Sandia Vision Clinic and became a co-owner
of the practice in 2004. Dr. Magnus is also a Clinical Examiner
for New Mexico Board of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy
of Optometry.
